Alexandra Meek

Alexandra (Alix) joined Omega in 2022 as Community Fundraiser but quickly found her strength and vocation lay in Grant Fundraising. She enjoys every aspect of the job, from researching potential funders to tweaking grant applications until they are perfect. She loves being part of a unified fundraising team that helps each other out so that it’s stronger than the sum of its parts. She finds it easy to promote the work of Omega because of personal life experiences and also because it ‘makes such a difference to people’s lives in a very humane, kind and personal way’.
