Our two brilliant Omega runners, Mimi and Martha successfully completed the London Marathon last Sunday. So far they’ve raised over £5000 for Omega!
Here’s what Martha had to say about her marathon experience:
“Every struggle, all the downs of training, pain and sweat, was absolutely worth it. To see a whole city turn out solely to support people, to give strangers sweets and high-fives, was simply beautiful. People of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities were represented in the race and on the side-lines, all unified in their struggle and love for others. During a time when to look at the news is to despair at the current state of the world, the London Marathon was a healing experience. My time and pace does not matter to me, but I am proud to have finished the London Marathon with a smile, and in support of a great cause.”
