We can now proudly announce that the new Mayor of Shrewsbury, David Vasmer, has selected Omega as one of the two chosen charities that he will seek to support during his Mayoral year.
During his acceptance speech, Mayor Vasmer recognised the critical work that we continue to provide, both locally and further afield, to support those people living through the blight of loneliness and social isolation.
CEO Pete Brophy said “I am looking forward to working with Mayor Vasmer and jointly planning some fantastic upcoming events. The Mayor understands what Omega is all about and I would like to thank him for adopting us as one of his charities of the year for 2024-25”.
