Omega CEO Pete Brophy and Head of Trustees Linton Waters attended the party, hosted by King Charles, at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday 8th May 2024. The charity is fortunate enough to be in receipt of funding from His Majesty’s Charitable Fund, to support its work with socially isolated and lonely people.
Linton and Pete, who served the King’s mother as a police officer for 30 years, overcame the challenges of rail strikes, motorway roadworks and standstill traffic in the capital to represent the charity. They were rewarded with wonderful weather and a chance to mingle with dignitaries, politicians, celebrities and representatives of a host of good causes. Attendees were thrilled to see His Majesty looking in good health, accompanied by Queen Camilla and The Princess Royal.
