Appeals for unwanted items
Recycle and donate your unwanted items to help us tackle loneliness in later life and help the environment too! Items that can be used or turned into cash include old ink cartridges, stamps, old/foreign currency and mobile phones/iPads + chargers. Also check out our charity eBay shop which helps us raise funds. If you have quality pre-loved donations that we can easily sell online please get in touch via our contact page.
Save your stamps for Omega
When you receive a letter, card or parcel in the post, save the stamp for the Omega Stamp Appeal. You will be helping to raise funds to support older people who are isolated and lonely. You can even ask your neighbours, friends, family, colleagues and classmates to save their stamps to add to your bundle. We will sort and recycle them into much-needed funds for our cause.
We accept all stamps – new or used, foreign, first day covers etc. Try and leave a centimetre of envelope or packaging around the stamp if you can.

Important:
If you are sending your stamps to us by post, please ensure you apply sufficient postage to the envelope. Standard letters thicker than 5mm will require more postage than a single stamp. Refer to the Royal Mail Online price guide for help.
Donate your old and foreign currency
If you have any old or foreign currency lurking at the back of a drawer, we would love to receive it. You will be helping us to make a real difference to the lives of older people who are isolated and lonely.

Donate your unwanted mobile devices
Please consider donating your old (working) smartphones and tablet computers to Omega. Your donation helps us raise valuable funds to support our work. We accept smartphones with or without chargers (extra chargers are always welcome). Be sure to remove any personal data and package the phone carefully if posting. Please note, if your phone is passcode locked / still tied to an Apple / Google account, we cannot make use of it. We can help if you are unsure about anything. We are no longer able to accept ‘feature’ / push-button phones which predate smartphones.

Donate your used printer cartridges
Did you know that you can help us raise funds simply by recycling your ink cartridges via our Recycle4Charity programme? For each ink cartridge recycled via the programme we will receive up to £2 donation. Plus it saves the planet!

ShareGift
If you have a small amount of shares, the administration cost of transferring or disposing of them can outweigh their value to the individual. These shares can be used to benefit Omega by using the charity ShareGift, an independent registered charity (Charity no. 1052686) set up to collect donations of unwanted shares to benefit UK charities.
